Please see below for the new guidelines on obtaining raid rank 1 and raid rank 2.

- You must request the ranks for your players.

Any questions or concerns that you may have we are very happy to discuss, explain or listen.

This may seem like alot but really most of it is what we have already been expecting from people with some things that we really want to see from raiding players.

Remember that Raid ranks are not permanent and are meant to help identify players who are at the content level for progression. If for any reason we can't give you a raid rank right away it does not mean you can't have one ever, it may mean that there are areas for you to catch up in first if this is the case we will make sure you know what it is so that you are involved in the whole process. Once addressed requests can be made again.

Raid Rank 1 Requirements:

ONLY your main toon can be RR1. This will be the character you can bring to ALL progression level raiding (new content that we do together). Alts can go as high as RR2 and are welcome to any non progression content that we attend.

  • Gear Score min: 5000 (without Gladiator PvP gear)
  • Must have addons: Ventrilo, Deadly Boss Mods, may be requested to obtain a class specific addon such as decursive.
  • Has raiding experience and characteristics becoming of a raider:
    • Is consistently well stocked with supplies. Food / Reagents / Flasks or Elixirs.
    • Regroups quickly after wipes.
    • Is on time (15mins before scheduled start time).
    • Uses limited AFK during raids (trash pulls for quick bios and designated breaks).
    • Returns from breaks promptly.
    • Can show and display awareness of ones role in the raid and their surroundings. (i.e. We don’t have to yell at you to get out of the fire.)
    • Understanding of self-survival/situational awareness in a raid (threat management, defensive cool downs, positioning).
    • The ability to follow instructions given by the raid leader.
    • The ability to stay focused on the task at hand.
  • Must be completely and properly gemmed and enchanted. (We have lots of JCers and Chanters in guild, many who can help you for free - especially when you have mats.)
  • Can generate a raiding income for themselves. (We all have to farm sometimes.)
  • Talent builds appropriate for raiding, and has the ability to discuss talent choices.
  • Gear appropriate for raiding (no pvp gear, no healers with +hit gear, for example), and has the ability to discuss gearing choices if necessary.
  • Understanding of what gear is appropriate for your class/spec/role, and willingness to pass on gear that may be better suited to another character.
  • Minimum of 5000 DPS in a 25 man buffed raiding situation for DPS roles.
  • Minimum of 4000 DPS self-buffed on a dummy for DPS roles.
  • Available for raiding and signs up for events.
  • Absolutely NO loot drama.

Benefits of Rank:

  • You get First dibs on any guild progression event and will be confirmed to the event. At this time 24hour notice is expected if you want to attend a run and only if you sign up later then 24 hours is your position in danger. However if you somehow make standby status (e.g. too many healers) you will get the first opportunity over any lower ranked player for positioning.
  • Bank access: Access to all tabs of the guild bank with daily WD limits.
  • Repair tab: Yes you get some free money for raiding progression. It is completely acceptable to use guild bank repair tabs for progression events.
  • Create your own guild events on group calendar. (Please limit creations to 10man events or farming raids and they can not be posted between Wed-Sat as this is the guild's regular raiding schedule.)
  • Opportunity to see new content first and obtain gear first.

Ranking as always is by request to Trymnam, Gaelen, or Spurlock. If for any reason it is felt that your toon doesn’t quite meet what we want as our top raiders we will explain what it is so that you have set goals to achieve to obtain raid rank 1.

Raid Rank 2 Requirements

Any of your Toons can be RR2. This Rank is for Raiders who are very interested in raiding but may not quite meet the current requirements for Raid Rank 1. The idea is that you will be working to obtain a higher ranking status.

This rank is also for the alts of RR1 players who have geared their alts up to raiding level as well. if your alt is equally prepared for progression content we'll make a notation for possible subsitution needs. ( much like how people being alts to runs now)

  • Gearscore min: 4500 (without Gladiator PvP gear)
  • Must have addons: Ventrilo, Deadly Boss Mods, may be requested to obtain a class specific add on such as decursive.
  • Has raiding experience and characteristics become of a raider:
    • Is often well stocked with supplies. Food / Reagents / Flasks or Elixirs.
    • Regroups quickly after wipes.
    • Is on time (15 mins before scheduled start time).
    • Uses limited AFK during raids trash pulls for quick bios and designated breaks.
    • Returns from breaks promptly.
    • Is developing awareness of their personal roll and surroundings *requires limited on the spot coaching for fire-standing type events*.
    • Is developing the ability of self-survival in a raid situation (threat management, defensive cooldowns, positioning).
    • The ability to follow instructions given by the raid leader.
    • The ability to stay focused on the task at hand.
  • Must be completely and properly gemmed and enchanted. (We have lots of JCers and Chanters in guild, many who can help you for free - especially when you have mats.)
  • Can generate a raiding income for themselves (we all have to farm sometimes).
  • Talent builds appropriate for raiding
  • Gear appropriate for raiding (no pvp gear, no healers with +hit gear, for example), and has the ability to discuss gearing choices if necessary.
  • At least 3000 DPS self buffed on a training dummy for DPS roles.
  • Available for raiding and signs up for events.
  • Absolutely NO loot drama.

Benefits of Rank:

  • You can attend any guild event however you will only be confirmed to progression raiding 24hours in advance. You get priority over all ranks lower than you. You are in a position to improve your ranking in the guild quickly.
  • Bank access: Access to all tabs of the guild bank with daily WD limits, however limits are smaller then Raid Rank 1.
  • Repair tab: Yes you get some free money for raiding progression. It is completely acceptable to use guildbank repair tabs for progression events.
  • Create your own guild events on group calendar. (Please limit creations to 10man events or farming raids and they can not be posted between Wed-Sat as this is the guild's regular raiding schedule.)

Ranking as always is by request to Trymnam, Gaelen, or Spurlock. If for any reason it is felt that your toon doesn’t quite meet these standards, we will explain why we feel this way and are willing to discuss so that we can reach an agreement and you can obtain ranking.
