So, somthing is different enough to eat up our mana pools. First heroic I tried I oomed ( and I rarely if never oom). So far what I found helps:

use flash of light almost all the time, augment with holy shock. Leave Holy light only for when target has taken 25% damage or more or if you're trying to give a bit of boost to melee.

Unbuffed my mana is at 451 which still seems insufficient.  I may be switching to mojo flasks for a while.

Divine favor and Divine illumination are becoming more apart of my rotation.

Anyone else have thoughts?

I have found the Sacred shield and Flash of Light combo works well.  for example if a melee dps is taking small aoe damage i toss Sacred shield  and a Flash then continue healing normaly it basicly negats those little aoe damages.  But i find it works best on main tank as it heals over time whil you are still casting heals as well if you combine with becon of light on Tank then some nice heals are going out.  So i say its about time they gave pallys a HOT spell woot.  As for manna regen i found a solution that works well for me .. Glyph of Seal of Wisdom Reduces all healing c osts by 5% when Seal of wisdom is active.  so helps reduce manna usage.  and since Pally healers dont really use Seals its a great glyph to have.

Pre-3.2 Holy paladins were considered to have "Infinite" mana due to our huge mana pools and large amount of mana regen due to Illumination and replenishment.  In a raid, 40% of my mana regen was from illumination alone and 20% from replenishment.  Seeing as both of these talents have been severly nerfed, mana issues are inevitable.  In order to attain a decent amount of regen, the best way I feel is gonna be balancing between the 3 main ways: Illumination, Replenishment and MP5.

At the moment, Ive got 202mp5, 35.49%crit and 25159 mana pool, My plan is to bump up my mp5 to around 300-400 while trying to keep my crit at about 30% and stack as much Int as possible(which all holy palles should be doing already).  Im gonna keep my gems and enchants as Int where possible and use Int trinks. Ive got the Int Greatness card and the new    Tears of the Vanquished trink outta reg ToC, which i suggest every holy pally gets, it gives 84int and a proc of 500mana with what seems like a 45sec cd.  I'll be testing out different gear sets(including breaking my t7 4 piece bonus *cry*)  and see which ways work well and post some more thoughts on this.

For the first time since the patch, I really think ive gotten the hang of the changes.  Last night in Bain 10man Ulduar we downed 9 bosses in about 4 1/2 hrs, most of them were one shotted, inluding Ignis and Iron council, with no deaths.  I think a huge part of it is the strategy I've started using.  I would Beacon the MT and do as much healing as possible to the raid, thus all healing gets transfered to the MT.  This strat worked extremely well in situations were serval raid members were taking extensive spike dmg and aoe heals just arent enough.  Or in situations were it was mainly the tanks taking dmg, i would beacon the OT tank and heal the MT, while still having an assigned OT healer.  Being able to give such a huge assist to the other healers without gimping my healing to my assignment was a huge help to our survivability. Also, one thing I noticed aswell, I had virtually zero mana issues and alot of it was do to replenishment. In the 25man we did earlier that night we only had 2 replenishers, in our 10man we had 3, so it most likely had a 100% up time.

I'll still need to bump up my mp5 to conpensate when there is a lack of replenishment and that should for  the most part permenately negate all the nerfs Ive gotten this patch.  So those of you holy pallies who are cursing the game right now for making your class worthless, Trust me there is light at end of the tunnel.  Change doesnt always mean worse, it just means different.  Happy Healing
